These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the yacobook.com website and Yaco's services. By browsing the site or sending an inquiry, you accept these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Platform owner
Yaco (yacobook.com) is a platform developed and operated by Quartz Tech Labs (hereinafter, "the Owner").
The Owner's complete corporate details — legal name, tax ID (CUIT) and registered address — are provided to anyone who requests them by writing to contacto@quartztechlabs.com. More information about the company at quartztechlabs.com.
2. Purpose and nature of the service
Yaco is a tourism discovery directory for the province of Jujuy: it publishes information about lodgings, guides, agencies and dining venues (the "Providers") and facilitates direct contact between travelers and Providers.
Yaco's intermediation is exclusively informational. Yaco does not process payments, does not charge transaction commissions, does not manage bookings on behalf of Providers, and is not a party to any contractual relationship that may be established between the traveler and the Provider.
Yaco does not guarantee the availability, prices, quality or actual delivery of the services offered by Providers. Every booking, payment or agreement is made directly between the traveler and the Provider, who is solely responsible for the service.
3. Traveler obligations
Anyone using Yaco as a traveler agrees to: use the platform lawfully and in accordance with these terms; provide truthful contact details when sending an inquiry; and not use the forms in an abusive or fraudulent way, or for purposes unrelated to a tourism inquiry (for example, sending advertising or bulk messages).
Sending an inquiry does not constitute a booking and creates no obligation for the Provider or for Yaco.
4. Affiliate obligations
Providers published on Yaco (the "Affiliates") agree to: keep the information on their listing truthful and up to date, including their availability; hold the licenses, registrations and insurance required for their activity under applicable tourism regulations; own the rights to the images and content they upload, or have sufficient authorization; and diligently attend to traveler inquiries received through the platform.
Failure to comply with these obligations may lead to the suspension or removal of the listing, as described in the following section.
5. Verification, suspension and removal
Becoming an Affiliate requires an application that the Yaco team verifies and approves manually. Yaco may request additional documentation to confirm the applicant's identity or the licenses for their activity, and may reject applications that do not meet the requirements.
Yaco may suspend or remove a listing when the published information proves false, misleading or repeatedly outdated; when the Affiliate loses the licenses required for their activity; when well-founded, repeated complaints are received from travelers; or when use of the platform contrary to these terms is detected. Whenever possible, Yaco will notify the Affiliate in advance so they can remedy the situation.
6. Content uploaded by affiliates
The content of each listing (texts, photos, contact details, opening hours and indicative prices) is uploaded by the Affiliate, who is responsible for its accuracy and for holding the necessary rights to that material.
By uploading content, the Affiliate grants Yaco a free, non-exclusive and revocable license to reproduce and display it on the platform and its official channels, for the sole purpose of promoting their listing. The license ends when the content is removed from the platform.
If you believe that content published on Yaco infringes your rights, write to soporte@yacobook.com indicating the content and the reason for your claim: we will review it and, where appropriate, take it down.
7. Intellectual property
The Yaco brand, the logo, the site design, its code and its structure are the property of the Owner or are used under license, and are protected by intellectual property law. They may not be reproduced or used without prior written authorization.
Content uploaded by Affiliates belongs to its owners and is governed by section 6.
8. Reviews and comments
Yaco allows travelers to leave reviews about Providers after a verified inquiry or stay. Reviews express the opinion of their author, not Yaco's.
Yaco moderates reviews and may reject or remove those containing insults, discrimination, third-party personal data, commercial content or false information. Legitimate reviews are not removed merely for being negative.
9. Liability
Yaco makes its best effort to verify Providers and to keep the site available and secure, but does not guarantee the absence of errors or uninterrupted availability of the service.
To the extent permitted by law, the Owner is not liable for damages arising from the relationship between travelers and Providers, which is outside the platform. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights granted to consumers by Argentine Consumer Protection Law 24.240 and other public-order rules, nor any liability that cannot be excluded under those rules.
10. Changes to these terms
The Owner may modify these terms to reflect changes in the platform or in regulations. The current version, with its last-updated date, is always published on this page.
Substantial changes will be announced with a visible notice on the site and, in the case of Affiliates, also by email to the registered address. Using the platform after the changes take effect implies acceptance.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the city of San Salvador de Jujuy, Province of Jujuy, without prejudice to applicable public-order jurisdiction rules, in particular those protecting consumers.
12. Language
These terms are published in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The Spanish version is the only legally binding one and prevails in case of any discrepancy of interpretation with its translations.
